DETAILS ANNOUNCED OF KOREAN TOUR WITH HAN-NA CHANG

19th October 2009

Finghin is preparing for two imminent trips to Korea.  The first visit will see him performing Rachmaninov's Second Piano Concerto at the Korea International Music Festival at the Seoul Arts Center on October 28th 2009. For this performance he will be joined by the Wonju Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Chi-Yong Jung.

In mid-November Finghin will return to Korea for an eight-concert recital tour with cellist Han-Na Chang.  Miss Chang is something of a superstar in her native Korea and many of the concerts are sure to be sell-out successes.  The tour includes two performances in the 2500-seat Seoul Arts Center.  The tour itinerary is as follows:

November 18th: Cutural Center, Gumi

November 20th: Aramnuri, Goyang

November 21st: Seoul Arts Center, Seoul

November 26th: Sungsan Arts Center, Changwon

November 28th: Cultural Center, Gunpo

December 1st: Dream Land, Seoul

December 3rd: Cultural Center, Busan

December 5th: Seoul Arts Center, Seoul.

The programme for the tour will feature Brahms' two Sonatas for cello and piano, preceded by Schumann's Adagio and Allegro Op. 70, the same programme which Miss Chang and Finghin performed at the National Concert Hall's Celebrity Series in Dublin in May 2009.
